ASTLEY Bridge police station will be opening its doors on Sunday to give the public a glimpse behind the scenes.
Visitors will be given the chance tour cells and children will be able to have their fingerprints taken.
Other attractions at the free open day, which runs between 10am and 4pm, include a concert by the Greater Manchester Police band, a chance to see police cars and motorbikes and an exhibition by GMP museum curators.
