RIVINGTON and Blackrod High School has been re-accredited with two prestigious education status awards - Investors in People status and also the new Leadership and Management standard.
The school is one of the first in the North-west to have been granted the award, which has been developed by Investors in People to help organisations look at their current and future management needs.
The school runs a number of leadership and management courses for staff, one of which is targeted specifically at support staff.
School principal Tony Purcell, said: "We are overjoyed to have gained re-accreditation of the Investor in People award and thrilled to have gained the Leadership and Management Standard."
