DARCY Lever will be flying the flag for the Bolton Association when they compete in the Dennis Lyddon Trophy finals on Sunday.
The competition, organised by the Little Lever club, has always been held for Bolton League clubs only, but this year it was decided to make it an open competition.
Darcy Lever and newly-crowned champions Walshaw joined Bolton Cricket Club against sides from the League, with Darcy reaching Sunday's semi-final.
They will play the new League champions Farnworth in the Twenty20-style competition in a match that starts at 10am at the Little Lever club. That will be followed by the second semi-final featuring Little Lever and Heaton, with the final being staged at approx 4pm.
