MAKING herself at home at Bury-based Woodcock & Sons solicitors is Louise Littler who will concentrate on housing law matters.
Louise (26) joined the firm to focus on landlord and tenant law, having spent the last five years studying part-time for her law degree at the University of Central Lancashire.
She will begin studying for an LPC (Legal Practice Certificate) in September while also training at Woodcock & Sons, based in Manchester Road, Bury.
When she left school, Louise joined a practice in Liverpool before moving to a law firm in Leigh where her interest in housing law spurred her on to study: "I really enjoyed the work and decided that I would get myself on a degree course to study in my own time," she said. "It's been hard work but I hope that when the results are out in July it will have been worth the effort".
Woodcock and Sons is one of the oldest established family firms of solicitors in the country. It has offices in Bury, Haslingden, Rawtenstall and Ramsbottom.
