STUBBINS-based Strategic Team Group (STG) has announced record profit and turnover for its financial year ending March 2005.
After another successful year of trading, STG, one of the UK's fastest growing suppliers of building and property solutions, has reported a turnover of £12.04 million and an operating profit before tax of £1.06 million. This represents a 45 per cent increase in turnover and a 57 per cent increase in operating profit.
STG, located at the Cuba Industrial Estate in Bolton Road North, has also announced that it increased its workforce from 63 to 93 and was able to deliver ten per cent of its profit before tax to its team members paid quarterly throughout the financial year.
With a large number of significant contract wins throughout the year, STG has gone from strength to strength. The business aims to continue its success throughout the next 12 months by achieving certain key standards, employing a broader team base to support increased business growth, creating an improved work life balance for team members and raising £20,000 for its corporate charity - the Child Brain Injury Trust. As a result of this activity, STG estimates a turnover of £15 million and an operating profit before tax of £1.4 million.
Charles Tweed, business development director of STG, said: We intend to continue achieving a minimum growth of 20 per cent per annum and grow our key business areas, which include new builds, refurbishments, fit-outs and general maintenance.
"We also have plans to develop the Strategic brand into new areas throughout the coming year and are confident that with the great team we have behind us, we can only continue to be successful."
