A FARNWORTH company has sowed the seeds of success with a garden design venture aimed at grabbing a slice of a £1.5bn market.

North West consumers can now experience a touch of Kew Gardens or The Chelsea Flower Show at their own home with the launch of a new concept - the 'ready-made' garden.

The Garden Studio has been launched with two showrooms in Cheshire and its owners are planning to roll out the format nationwide.

It has been launched by staff at Cooper Clarke, based in Bloomfield Road, Farnworth, which is part of the construction giant Heiton Group, and two Garden Studio showrooms have recently opened at Hawleys Trade Park in Warrington and Nantwich Trade Park in Nantwich.

Tina Crossley, who is running the business with Phil Sharp and Matt Stirrup, said: "We offer something unique to the UK market - homeowners can have the garden of their dreams with a one-stop design, landscaping and installation service."

Research shows the market is worth £1.5bn a year and is forecast to grow at a rate of seven per cent a year.
