RED tape in Bulgaria is holding up Wanderers' plans to distribute tickets to fans wishing to travel to Burgas for the UEFA Cup first round second leg tie.
A statement from communications manager Danny Reuben on Wednesday revealed: "Wanderers Football Club wishes to advise supporters that they are still unable to allocate tickets for the club's UEFA Cup first round second leg tie against Lokomotiv Plovdiv on Thursday, September 29.
" In addition to the 910 tickets the club is set to receive, we have had verbal confirmation that an extra 1000 tickets will be allocated to the club, but as of today (Wednesday, September 14) we are still awaiting official confirmation and receipt of our full allocation. It seems that the level of government bureaucracy in Bulgaria has caused the delay.
"The club will continue to exert pressure on Lokomotiv Plovdiv to try and resolve all ticketing difficulties and with anticipation we will be able to announce further information in the next 48 hours."
