SAM Allardyce has launched a spirited rallying call, urging fans to share in the moment as a new chapter is written in the history of Bolton Wanderers.
The Whites boss will realise a long-standing ambition when Wanderers make their UEFA Cup debut against the Bulgarian side, Lokomotiv Plovdiv, at the Reebok on Thursday night.
It will be an historic event he believes every Bolton supporter should want to be a part of and is hoping for a near-capacity crowd to ensure that the result matches the occasion.
Latest figures suggest Wanderers have sold around 14,000 tickets for the home leg of the first round tie but, with supporters able to buy tickets on the night and pay at certain turnstiles, Allardyce is hoping the attendance will be swelled by a late surge.
"Collectively well create a little piece of history and it will go down as one of those games when you just had to be there, he said.
"The crowd will play a massive part in our efforts and I want the stadium as near to capacity as possible and for the fans to create a partisan atmopshere.
"The club has done its bit in reducing pricess across the board and it will be great just to see the Reebok rocking."
The cheapest tickets for the Plovdiv game have been cut to £15 for adults and £5 for children and will be on sale at the ticket and membership office until kick off time and until 6pm at the Wanderers' kiosk in the Market Place. Fans will be able to pay by cash at the turnstiles for the lower tier of the South Stand.
Plovdiv are expected to bring no more than 200 fans to the Reebok.
Wanderers chief scout, Jack Chapman, saw Plovdiv in league action on Saturday and has given Allardyce a rundown on what he described as a "well-organised team.
The manager's main task now is to select a side capable of getting a result in the home leg that will pave the way for Wanderers to progress to the four-match group stages of the competition while keeping key players fresh for Sundays Premiership game at Manchester City.
He has indicated that he will make changes, prompting speculation that latest signings Jared Borgetti, Hidetoshi Nakata and Fabrice Fernandes will come into the Euro reckoning. But the extent of his tinkering will only be known just before kick off time, which has been put back to 8.10pm to fit into Channel Five's programme scheduling.
Although their information on Plovdiv is limited, Wanderers are not under-estimating the Bulgarians who beat OFK Belgrade in a qualifier to reach the first round of the competition,.
"We watched them at the weekend and from what weve seen they look a well-organised outfit,' Allardyce said.
"It's a little unknown for us, but we know our responsibilioties and what's required to help us go to Burgas (the second leg venue) in an excellent position to win the tie.
"The whole of my squad will come into contention for the game and I will make a decision on who will be selected nearer to kick off. But the lads are fired up or it and really want to progress in the competition."
