A MAN accused of murdering pregnant prostitute Danielle Moorcroft has appeared in court via video link.
Stuart Milsted, of Gilnow Road, Bolton, was expected to enter a plea to Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, but refused.
The charge was put to him twice and on each occasion Milsted replied that he was not prepared to enter a plea.
Judge Henry Globe QC formally entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.
Milsteds barrister, Andrew Nuttall, told the court he was awaiting expert reports on the effects of the anti-depressant drug Seroxat.
The body of Danielle, originally from Norris Green, Liverpool, was found in a car park close to Bolton Community College on June 1, 2002.
The 21-year-old, who was five months pregnant, died of head injuries.
Milsted, aged 30, was remanded in custody until October 17.
