BAZ Carey said Amir Khan is the best fighter he has faced during a 30-fight career, and he has got the scars to prove it.
The experienced 29-year-old was taught a lesson by Khan - 11 years his junior - but stayed on his feet to earn the applause of a packed Cardiff audience at the International Arena.
He faced the media after the fight with the looks of a man who had completed 10 rounds with Mike Tyson, and was quick to confirm just how good his opponent had been.
He said: "I think he's the best I've ever faced to tell the truth. I think hes class, I think he's going places.
"I didn't think he had a dig quite as hard as he has. He's got quite a hard dig.
"I've got a strong body, and he hurt me, so if he gets into the ring with people not built quite as big as me - he is going to put them away."
