COULD I congratulate the Mayor, Cllr Brian Jarvis, on behalf of Wigan and Leigh Hospice for putting on a most marvellous night of entertainment at Abbey Street Labour Club.
It was entertainment at its very best. I have never enjoyed myself as much for donkeys years.
We Leythers might be poor but we know how to enjoy ourselves when its going to a good cause.
It would be icing on the cake if Mr Jarvis could get another concert organised before Christmas.
