I WOULD like to respond to the gentleman from Glasgow who has taken issue with my letter about the protection of the Sukula family.
His letter is well corroborated. However, we must not let it distract us from the potential plight of the Sukulas should these people be sent back to the land they were forced to leave!
He refers to history. I do take what he says as interesting but I refuse to let certain abhorrent actions perpetrated by charismatic individuals within the political spheres of the past prevent me from celebrating what has endured in my nation - compassion and justice.
