BELOIT Walmsley in Bolton have won an important contract in South Africa. The £35m order from Sappi Fine Papers (Pty) Ltd is to rebuild a fine paper machine at Enstra Mill.
The contract covers all project management and the provision of a full range of services at the mill including erection, start-up, commissioning and operator training.
A spokesman for Beloit, which has its headquarters in Wisconsis, USA, said Sappi would benefit from many of Beloit's latest advances in papermaking and fibre preparation technology.
