SIR: There will be many readers who have a condition called psoriatic arthritis, but they'll be pleased to hear that new help is at hand.
This is an inflammatory arthritis affecting several joints and is associated with skin problems. It usually attacks people between the ages of 20 and 50, but it can sometimes occur earlier or later in life.
Also psoriatic arthritis can often be mild, but it can sometimes become severe, causing considerable discomfort and joint pain. For this reason, people with the condition need advice and help, and the Arthritis & Rheumatism Council has produced a booklet which explains the problem, tells of its treatment and what sufferers can do to help themselves.
This booklet is available free of charge by sending a 9 x 6, 29p s.a.e. to me as below.
