A MULTI-lingual Spaniard has been appointed by BICC Cables to spearhead its increasingly pan-European approach to business.
Alberto Alsina, 27, is the new business development manager for the company's construction and industrial cable systems division in Leigh.
Alberto, who speaks English, German, French and Catalan, has travelled around Europe and gained an MBA in European Enterprise Management.
Now living in Newton-le-Willows he said: "It is quieter and wetter here than in Barcelona but I like it very much and the people are very friendly.
"I strongly believe BICC Cables can go from strength-to-strength, particularly in the European market."
