BURY boss Stan Ternent has urged his players to forget their midweek cup glory and restore promotion as their top priority.
The Shakers stunned First Division form team Sheffield United and delighted their manager with Tuesday night's magnificent Coca-Cola Cup performance.
But Ternent is quick to point out that it means nothing if they cannot reproduce it in the Third Division.
"I was delighted with our performance in the cup but now we must translate it into the league which is the main thing for us," he says.
Ternent has latest signing Dean West available after being cup-tied on Tuesday night but he is unlikely to break up the side which produced the season's outstanding performance so far.
The Shakers are determined to turn on the style in their search to build on their cup success with a first league victory of the season at Gigg Lane.
But old boys Roger Stanislaus and Tony Kelly will have other ideas as they return for the first time since leaving Bury in deals worth £80,000 to the Shakers in the summer.
