SIR: The TV Licence is, in other words. the BBC con trick. The BBC will have us all believe that the airwaves or signals are their sole possession. That means therefore that even when receiving TV signals for commercial television you still have to pay for the privilege, for those signals to be received, to the BBC. Even if your TV set would only receive commercial television you would still have to pay the BBC for a TV licence.
Doesn't it smack of the ancient taxation cons in centuries past!
If that weren't enough, the privatisation of public necessity companies for water and electricity is further evidence that in Britain, greed is a means to our end a very , very profitable end!!
Society or Joe Soap are the very means to achieve those ends!
