Under 16 Youth section: - Walshaw Sports 2 Breightmet Utd 7; Leigh RMI 2 Bromley Cross 2; AFC Bolton 2 Blackmoor HF 5.
! Under 18 Premier: Radcliffe Boro 7 Atherton Colls 0. ASTLEY Bridge carried the Bolton Boys Federation flag in the Lancashire Football Association Under 14s Youth Cup when they won a place through to the next round after a fine 4-0 victory at home against a strong Southport YMCA side.
The Bridge goals came from Dave Jones, Chris Mullan, Carl Caffrey and Danny Withnell.
In the Under 12section Hindley Junio picked up two points when they won a close fought game away at Farnworth Boys 4-3 with two goals each for Lee Wogan and Gareth Edwards.
In the same section Ladybridge were too strong for CMB Westhoughton who lost 9-0. The goals came from a hat-trick from Ashley Bond and two goals each for Jamie Parker and Stephen Hallen. Neil Foster and Arran Leece made up the tally.
In the Under 13 section Bolton Lads Clubs beat Hindley Juniors 7-0 at home and in the same section Deans Sports and Waterfoot shared the points in a 4-4 draw with Deans goals being shared by Paul Massey, Danny Cloley, Antony Berry and Andrew Luny.
CMB Westhoughton also had a fine home win when they overcame Westhoughton Rangers 9-1 with four goals for Richard White, Jason Bradley (2),and one each for Darren Carolan, Nick Harwood and Davis Holt.
In the Under 11 Cubs section there was a cracker of a game played at Bolton Lads Club where the home team played host to Westhoughton Rangers. Bolton Lads Club were 4-1 down after only 15 minutes of the game but fought back to finish the match all square at 6-6 thanks to four goals from Carl Grimshaw and one each for Callum Brewer and Chris Collins.
In the same section both Hindley Juniors sides won, the B team winning 4-1 at home to Farnworth Boys and the A team winning 2-1 away at Astley Bridge.
The in form team in this section must be Walshaw Sports who won yet again, this time beating Clarence Athletic 9-1 with Andy Brooks (4) Ryan Nowak (3) and Alex Grime scoring the goals.
Bolton County seem to be the team in form in the under 15 section as they won 8-1 away at Beechfield with two goals each for Jamie MacDonald, Ryan Cain and Paul Hallows and further goals for Brett Lilley and Gareth Chamberlain. In the same section Bromley Cross and Bolton Lads club shared the points in a high scoring 4-4 draw Arron Bromley grabbing a hat-trick for Bromley Cross whose other goal came from Chris Young with Richard Ogden (2) Ari Spencer and David Jolley replying for Lads Club.
Leigh RMI kep up their unbeaten record when they won 5-0 away at Walshaw with a hat-trick for Rick Yarwood and a goal each for Ben Robinson and Daniel Meakin. Pennington also picked up two points when they won a hard fought game 3-1 against AFC. Bolton with a brace for Daniel Wilcock and a goal from Liam Carr.
In the Under 16 Youth section Breightmet United got back on the winning trail when they won away at Walshaw Sport 7-2 thanks to a hat-trick from Paul Aldred, Richard Fowler (2) and one each from Ben Harrison and Glen Jackson. Blackmoor FC also had a fine hard fought fought victory away at AFC Bolton who they defeated 5-2 with goals for Andrew Heald (2) Chris Walker, Chris Keogh and Michael McLoughlin. Leigh RMI and Bromley Cross shared the points in a 2-2 draw, Wissam Jafer scoring a double for RMI.
In the Under 18 Premier Radcliffe Boro stayed up amongst the leading pack when they won 7-0 at home to Atherton Colls with Mark Westhead scoring four and one each from Philip Regan, Nathan Glynn and Brian Read.
