BURY striker Dave Johnson gave a reminder of his talent with two goals for the reserves last night.
Johnson, kept out of the first team by Phil Stant and Mark Carter's blossoming partnership, continues to apply the pressure on the men in possession.
Boss Stan Ternent said: "Stant and Carter are scoring goals and playing well but Johnson is in the first team squad.
"He's getting fitter and fitter all the time which is important to us.
"He's still got a lot more to offer than what he has shown and people forget he is still only 19."
Dave Lancaster and Jimmy Mulligan - playing his first half game since recovering from an ankle injury - scored the other goals in a 4-2 win over Stockport County.
