FRIDAY the 13th may be unlucky for some, but one Bolton birthday girl has a particularly good reason to keep everything crossed.
Hayley Williams is not celebrating just any birthday on this infamous day...by a quirk of fate, she is actually 13 today.
The odds of having a 13th birthday on Friday the 13th are astronomical, but Hayley, who lives in Harwood and is a pupil at Thornleigh College, remains philosophical. Her mother, Jean, explained: "She has never been particularly superstitious and thankfully this whole coincidence has not bothered her. I was the one who first realised that the dates clashed and couldn't believe it. I will be getting her a lottery ticket today - and the number 13 will definitely have to feature on it!"
