SIR: The Ludgershall Medical Equipment Depot, near Andover, Hants, has been known as Army Medical Stores, Army Medical Equipment depot and, more recently, Defence Medical Equipment Depot.
The first reunion organised on a national basis, for former staff, took place in June 1995 when visitors, Regular TA and National Service soldiers as well as former civilian staff, travelled from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle upon Tyne, Merseyside, Midlands, Kent and Cornwall to attend.
A further reunion is being planned for 1996, probably in early Autumn, and I shall be pleased to forward details to any of your readers who are interested in this event, on receipt of a large stamped addressed envelope.
