On Sunday, October 22, The Shades Jazz Orchestra play the music of Stan Kenton at the Novotel, Worsley. It's an 8.15pm start.

Terry Bowden directs The Conscience of Sgt Cluff, a mystery play, at St Peter's Methodist Church, from October 26 to 28. Terry believes this play by Leslie Sands has not been staged in Bolton before.
