NEIL McDonald's move to Preston could be back on.
The Wanderers midfield man, whose transfer to Deepdale broke down three weeks ago after talks about personal terms, is hoping the deal can be revived.
Preston had hoped to buy time by taking the former Newcastle, Everton and Oldham star on loan but Wanderers, who are asking £50,000, rejected the idea.
Burnden boss Colin Todd says the ball is now in Preston's court. "We haven't heard from them since the transfer collapsed. It's up to them to come to some agreement with Neil over his terms."
