stuns Bolton WOLVES RES 1
BOLTON RES 0 BOLTON Reserves went down to a narrow defeat against a strong Wolves side at Telford United last night.
The only goal of the game came in the 11th minute when Dominic Foley fired a low shot home.
Wolves dominated the early stages but Wanderers clawed their way back into the game.
Scott Green and Marcus Hallows worked hard up front and they kept the Wolves defensive duo of John de Wolf and Brian Law busy despite.
Aidan Davison produced the save of the match when he turned away a Neil Emblen header.
Wolves' only other chance to increase their lead came when David de Jong hit a post.
Bolton had penalty appeals turned away when Scott Green was brought down and it was from his run that they came close to equalising seven minutes from time.
Then he broke away down the right and his low cross was almost turned in by Hallows, the keeper saving on the line at the second attempt.
