ANOTHER Bolton school has been hit by vandals, following an attack on Turton High School at the weekend.
Staff and pupils at Highfield County Primary in New Bury, Farnworth this morning found three large five feet by six feet windows smashed.
The damage will cost hundreds of pounds to repair.
Youngsters were forced to have lessons in the hall while shards of glass were cleared from classrooms.
Head teacher Janet Woods said the attack had brought the bill for smashed windows and break-ins this financial year to £5,000. She said: "This is very distressing for staff and pupils. Not a week goes by without windows being smashed and these latest ones were huge reinforced panes. eplacements will come directly out of the school budget."
As reported in Saturday's BEN, 36 windows were smashed in the early hours of Saturday morning at Turton High School, Bromley Cross.
