DETECTIVES investigating the vicious murder of Bolton mother Angela Heyes are setting up a mobile incident room near her home.
Officers will be working from the caravan, parked near Bolton School at the junction of Park Road and Chorley New Road in the hope that local people will come forward and give them information about the 33-year-old's last movements.
Angela was last seen at her bedsit on January 3, nearly two weeks before her strangled and semi-naked body was found dumped on the moors near Egerton.
Officers based at the mobile incident room will today continue carrying out door to door inquiries among people living in the area.
Meanwhile officers from Lancashire police force are continuing to search the moor in the hope of finding the ligature used to throttle Angela, who also used the alias Shelley.
And murder hunt detectives are contacting their colleagues to see if the young woman's name has previously cropped up in any of their investigations.
Det Supt John Waterworth warned that her killer is very dangerous and must be caught quickly.
"The violence used was quite excessive and I am desperate to find her killer," he said. Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen Angela, who sometimes also wore a blonde wig, since the New Year, including people who may have seen her in the town centre pubs she frequented. Anyone who can help can call in at the police caravan, dial the incident room on 0161 856 5962 or ring the Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
