A BOLTON schoolboy striker at the centre of a soccer tug-of-war will know where his future lies in the next few days.
David Brown, currently on Manchester United books, could be ordered back to his first club, Oldham Athletic, if the Old Trafford club are found guilty of poaching him by the FA.
Brown, who joined Oldham's Centre of Excellence as a 10 year old, signed schoolboy forms at the age of 14 but then shocked the Boundary Park outfit by leaving them to join Manchester United last summer. It's now almost 12 months since Oldham made their complaints to the Football Association when the former Greater Manchester Under 16s captain informed them that he would not be joining Oldham in a full time capacity.
Oldham have been monitoring last week's case involving Matthew Wicks, when United were found guilty of poaching the international schoolboy defender from Arsenal.
But United were not fined because Wicks has since returned to London after failing to settle in the Manchester area.
