MURDER hunt detectives are revisiting the moorland site today where Bolton prostitute Angela Heyes's body was found.

Lancashire police have been searching the area around Stones Bank Road, near Egerton, where 33-year-old Angela's semi-naked body was found on Sunday.

But so far no clues, including the ligature used to strangle her, have been found.

Det Supt John Waterworth, who is leading the search for Angela's killer, is due to visit the bleak moorland site today with other senior officers to decide whether the search area should be extended. Meanwhile detectives at the Castle Street, Bolton, murder incident room are still checking out information which has been provided by the public and people who knew Angela.

"We have received a lot of information. People are genuinely wanting to help," said Mr Waterworth.

But he added that they have still not definitely been able to establish her movements since she was last seen at her Park Road bedsit by a neighbour on Jan 3.

Anyone who has information about her whereabouts, her background or her associates can contact the murder incident room on 0161 856 5962, call in at the police caravan at the junction with Park Road near Bolton School, or phone the free Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
