DETECTIVES have arrested a man following a series of knifepoint muggings in Deane and Daubhill.
As reported exclusively in Saturday's BEN, police were trying to trace a mugger preying on elderly women.
And vital new clues were provided from a BEN reader.
Yesterday a 20-year-old man, thought to be from the Deane area, was arrested and charged with five robberies. He was expected to appear before Bolton magistrates today.
