PAUL Freary celebrated his debut at the half marathon distance with victory in the Bermuda event.
By the time the 13-mile race came around, Bolton Harrier Paul had already competed in two races, finishing third in the 10k and fourth in the mile.
But that hardly held up Paul who finished the half marathon in the excellent time of 1-9-14
Paul's time in the mile, which was won by former record holder Marcus O'Sullivan of Ireland, was 4.07 while he clocked 31.04 in the 10K race won by Zambia's Charles Mulinga.
He said: "The three races in three days did take their toll on me. But I still enjoyed every minute of it and I hope to return again next year."
