FRANO Botica has made his first Castleford appearance - four months after joining the club. The goal-kicking ace began his comeback from injury in last night's Alliance League game at St Helens. The former Wigan stand-off, who joined Castleford four months ago on a two-year contract but has been out of action since breaking a leg playing for Auckland Warriors in the summer, showed no sign of distress as he played the full 80 minutes in Castleford's 35-8 win, but is unlikely to play in Saturday's Silk Cut Challenge Cup clash against St Helen's.
