BOLTON social services - with the help of other care agencies - have produced a draft Local Community Care Charter.
And now they are seeking your views on the document.
The draft - which was put together by social services staff with the help of the housing department, Health Authority, Community Healthcare Trust, Family Health Services Authority and the independent sector - sets out the standards to be expected from the services provided within the community. During the consultation period, the draft charter will be open to view for customers.
Posters and leaflets have been produced to publicise the move and anyone wishing to see the draft Charter should contact Chris Poulsom, Customer Services Assistant, Le Mans Crescent, Bolton BL1 1SA or ring Bolton 365963. The deadline for comments is February 29 and the Charter will be published in the spring.
When finalised the Charter document will also be available on tape and will be updated regularly.
