Wanderers have increased their 'foreign' contingent to seven with the arrival on trial of African midfielder Mohammed Ben Silla.
The 24-year-old international from Guinea, who has been playing in Germany with Bayern Munich after being released by Dutch club Willem ll, joins Italian defender Enzo Gambaro on trial and will play in reserve team games once his international clearance is obtained.
"He comes highly recommended by someone who is highly respected in the game," Colin Todd confirmed. Wanderers are now in the position of fielding a truly international side with players from 11 different countries all in their rightful positions.
The cosmopolitan line-up runs like this:
Keith Branagan (Eire), Gudni Bergsson (Iceland), Gerry Taggart (North Ireland), Alan Stubbs (England), Enzo Gambaro (Itlay), Sasa Curcic (Yugoslavia), Richard Sneekes (Holland), Ben Silla (Guinea), John McGinlay (Scotland), Nathan Blake (Wales), Mixu Paatelainen (Finland).
