SIR: It was interesting to read the editorial and subsequent letter by George K Brown entitled "Education's really lost its way."
Seems like the justice system also, from the comments made last week by one of the top justices of this country.
For it was intimated that we are very near becoming a lynch mob society. We are encouraged also towards vigilantes through neighbourhood watch and the like, it is right and wrong that have got lost.
There has been warning after warning that a two-tier society has this past fifteen years or so been developing. Should we be surprised at the results? There can only be one outcome between the increasing division between the haves and have nots - a total divide in civil interests. The rights and wrongs between the two sides will mean totally different things to those who have and those who are denied.
A lynch mob mentality must result. Either way.
