A MANCHESTER Airport baker suffered a fractured toe today when he dropped a frozen carrot on it.
John Mullard, aged 25, was working in the kitchen of the Lancaster restaurant at the airport's Terminal One building.
He was taken to Wythenshawe hospital and released after treatment.
One of his colleagues said: "It was an extremely painful experience for John, but we have had difficulty in keeping a straight face."
