WE'LL be back...that was message spelled out loud and clear by Bolton Wanderers' fans who were down, but definitely not out, for the final Premier League game of the season at Highbury yesterday.
They already knew their beloved team was doomed to Division One next season after just one season at the top level.
But to any casual observer, the Wanderers might just have won the championship as the loyal fans put their cares behind them and went into party mood as the final whistle blew.
Earlier, they really had something to sing about as the Wanderers sparkled and went into an early lead. But then, like an action replay of so many games this season, Arsenal came back and ended up 2-1 winners.
Many were in fancy dress - and others unfurled banners with the optimistic messages "We'll be back" and "We'll meet again".
