SIR: I served by two years National Service with the Royal Army Pay Corps joining at Devizes Wiltshire training camp in July 1953 and then spent 10 weeks at Nottingham Pay Office. The remainder of my time was divided equally between CPO (Command Pay Office) in Germany (BAOR 42) and Pay Wing 41 Garrison Hook of Holland (BFPO 27).
I am arranging a reunion of former Corps members of any rank who served at any posting and at any time whether as National Servicemen or regular soldiers and I shall be pleased to provide details to anyone interested. My never-to-be-forgotten Army Service number was 22894329 and during my service days I was known to my pals as 'Rock' Hudson.
