A YOUNG Blackpool bachelor was today stepping into the limelight to collect his £10.9 million share of the National Lottery jackpot.

The lucky 23-year-old, who lives with his parents, is believed to be planning to quit his job as a junior manager at the seaside town - and wants to buy a sports car.

He was travelling to London to pick up his winnings from Lottery organisers Camelot at a news conference.

The winner of the other half of the rollover jackpot has yet to come forward. The ticketholder is believed to be unaware of the win.

A spokeswoman for Camelot said it is believed that winner may be away for the Bank Holiday and not know of the win.

The two shared a roll-over jackpot of £21,806,396, giving them £10,903,198 each. They picked the numbers 6, 25, 26, 33, 34 and 47. The bonus ball was 49. Fifteen ticket holders will collect £258,238 for predicting five correct numbers plus the bonus while five numbers were matched by 909 tickets for £2,663.

Nearly 60,000 winners scooped £91 for picking four correct numbers, and there were 1.17 million £10 wins.
