LOCAL businesses with a successful training record have until May 31 to enter for this year's National Training Awards.

The competition is organised annually by the Department for Education and Employment and covers a range of categories including employers, training providers, individual or small teams.

Richard Bindless, chief executive of Bolton Bury TEC, said: "Entering for a National Training Award gives companies an opportunity to gain recognition for the results achieved in linking effective training and business success."
