POLICE officers are scouring a Bolton housing estate on the trail of a...deer. Officers were called to the Haulgh at 7.30am today when neighbours reported that a deer was strolling along the pavement in Radcliffe Road. A sceptical police officer was called to the scene. But, within minutes of arriving in the area, he spotted the deer run through fencing adjoining a children's playground and cross the road in front of his car. The deer ran down Bradford Park Drive and through a garden before disappearing into the Tonge Valley.
