A MAN was arrested after armed police officers surrounded a farm on the outskirts of Bolton today.
A haul of air rifles, shotgun cartridges, drugs equipment and pornographic videos were seized.
Detectives from Swinton, and GMP's armed unit, swooped on Eckersley's Farm in Back Lane, Over Hulton, at 5am.
One man was led away from the farm in handcuffs. He was later released on bail. Police seized a machine gun after arresting two Salford brothers at a railway station in Rhyl, North Wales, yesterday. Forensic experts are testing the firearm as part of an investigation into a series of armed crimes in the Swinton, Eccles and Little Hulton areas.
