THE world famous Red Arrows display team are set to return to the North West on June 1 as the main attraction at Bolton Air Show and Gala Day.

The show will be held at the British Aerospace Sports and Social club sports ground in Lostock.

The RAF's nine man team are considered to be the best air show attraction in the world with precision flying in BAe Hawk 100s.

Other attractions include the Pitts sky dancer stunt plane, the Miles M 14A Magister, the Czechoslovakian L-39 Albatross jet fighter, the De Haviland Dragon Rapid and the Rover Duo Aerobatic display team.

There will also be a wealth of attractions including side shows, bouncy castles, the Imps motor cycle display team and the Derby Midshipmen Carnival Band. Entry to the show, which starts at 1pm, is £1.50 and children accompanied by adults will get in free.
