WE hope the winners of the Bolton heat of the Senior Citizens Talent Contest make the national finals and are successful there.

But every one of the contestants, all over 60, who took part in the local heat deserve our congratulations for getting on stage and performing in front of a large audience. It's a great competition for the young-at-heart and full credit to Bolton Council for ensuring the town is represented by organising the heat.
