BURY can go from strength to strength - according to ex-Wanderers boss Phil Neal.
The Cardiff City manager experience the Shakers' quality at first hand when his team were destroyed 3-0 at Gigg Lane last Saturday.
And he believes they will quickly acclimatise at the higher level.
"They deserved to go up," he said. "Their results away from home proved they have the strength to do well in this division.
"They have a very powerful young team as well as experienced players and have developed that power unit.
"They will hold their own in the Second Division and I wish them well because they are a smashing, warm little club.
"Stan Ternent and Sam Ellis have got them going and with their experience in management I am sure they will know which areas need strengthening."
