THE BT Experience is proving to be a popular attraction in Salford.
The free, multi-media event runs until May 25.
It features the Internet, an interactive computer games facility called Wireplay, and various other communications systems developed by the company.
Mike Townsend, BT's senior manager in Greater Manchester, said: "The few years up to the millennium and in to the next century will see an ever-increasing acceleration of the pace at which technology affects the very core of everyday life, be it at home, at work or at leisure.
"We want the people of Greater Manchester to share our vision of the future."
The event is the focal point of a major five-week initiative, BT Local Partnership, designed to highlight BT's £20 billion investment in telecommunications over the last 10 years.
The BT Experience is at Unit 120, Metroplex Business Park, Broadway, Salford.
