They entered four teams in the stableford competition and two of them finished first and second. Their previous wins were way back in 1920 and 1957.
The winning team comprised M Vancuylenburg 33, S Hudson 40, F Dawson 36, S Lyons 38 for a 147 total. They won on cpo from L Wiggans 42, J Hunter 29, P Roberts 39, A Seddon 37. The individual silver division was won by Sally Attwood of Old Links with 40pts on cpo from Marie Millar of Dunscar, with Breightmet's Liz Brown third on 38.
Bronze division winner was J Hardman (Gt Lever) 47, 2nd L Wiggans (Gt Lever) 42 and 3rd N Hornby (Dunscar) 40.
