SIR: At the end of the Second World War, the Nazi leaders were condemned to death for making 'Aggressive War'. It is now time for the Israeli-American axis to be made to account for their War Crimes.

For openers: The bombing and shelling of defenceless civilian areas all over the Lebanon topped by the brutal slaughter of clearly marked (with red crosses) ambulances and 'safe' United Nations refugee camp. Are we to forget the slaughter of over 11,000 civilians in the illegal American invasion of Panama? Why the silence at the criminal invasion of the British Island of Grenada, the leaders of which are still rotting in jail.

But for the interference of outsiders there would have been no war in Yugoslavia. Using the banner of the United Nations the Gulf War was organised with its attendant hi-tech brutality; remember the incenderation of a crowded air-raid shelter and the disgusting outrage on the Basra Road. Ten years before this the Israelis were ordered by the United Nations to leave Southern Lebanon, no Gulf War type action there!

All this makes nonsense of United Nations decisions which can no longer be used to justify any future conflict. Hisbola, after all, is only carrying out UN's resolution.
