KEVIN Geyer and Andy Williams booked Greenmount's passage into the next round of the Hamer Cup with an unbeaten partnership of 137.
Australian Geyer, the club's overseas amateur, hit 100 not out and pro Williams 66 as their side overhauled an impressive Westhoughton total of 192-8 in a nine wicket win.
For their part, Westhoughton did well to recover from a nightmare start that had them struggling at 9-3. Rick Parker 52 and Stuart Harrison 58 hauled them back to respectability and with wicketkeeper Mike Bentham adding 40 they managed to post a near-200 run target that might have tested other teams.
