A MOTORCYCLIST was thrown from his machine and seriously hurt in an accident in Tottington.
Gary Clancey, 34, of Malton Avenue, Whitefield, was travelling along Turton Road towards Bradshaw on a 400cc Yamaha at 4.15pm on Saturday near the junction of Watling Street.
He was in collision with a Vauxhall Cavalier driven by Yvonne Skelly of Skegness Close, Bury.
Mr Clancey is in Bury General Hospital with a broken pelvis, broken wrist and internal injuries. The driver of the Cavalier, who is in her 50s, was unhurt.
