A POLICE station advisor accredited by the Legal Aid Board is the latest addition to the team at Allansons Solicitors in Central Street, Bolton.
Trevor Howarth, who previously worked for Garstangs Solicitors, returns to Bolton after a spell with the Manchester firm of Burton Copeland.
He is also a well-known figure in the business community, having run highly successful market businesses in the town for many years. Mr Howarth is amongst a small number of people in the country who have qualified as accredited police station advisors.
He joins Roger Allanson, who was recently mentioned in the Law Society Gazette as one of the first sole practitioners in the country to be awarded a legal aid franchise.
